In the past, using a personal stylist was often considered to be a service that was mainly for the rich and famous, only footballer's wives or the wives of rich businesses men could afford to be dressed by a professional while the rest of us go on our merry way around Primark or Wal-Mart.

But this is no longer the case, the image consultancy industry is now a competitive marketplace and the benefits of this are for us to take advantage of. Now we can all afford to hire someone that will make us look good and feel great about ourselves again.

Reasons to use a personal stylist.
Boot your self- esteem. Feel good about yourself again by looking good again. This will help you develop a more positive outlook on life.

Feel special about yourself. It doesn't hurt to be treated special now and again. Take advantage of being treated like a celebrity and enjoy the experience of being pampered.

Free up some spare time. A dedicated personal stylist will help teach you where to go for your fashion requirements and what you should be wearing. This will help free up some of that all precious spare time you constantly crave.

Take advantage of some expert advice. These people know what they are doing, most stylists have a fashion degree and they also have a knack for knowing what clothes will suit you and your complexion. Their advice is usually priceless so take advantage of it.

Convenience. A Lot of personal stylists now offer an online service. If you need tips or have a fashion emergency then get online and ask them what to do!!!!

Finding a personal stylist.

I have tried quite a few stylist's in the past with mixed results. This article will hopefully help you choose the right one.
Google is a good place to start. Regional results are well worth looking at opposed to adwords as they have earned the right to appear in the natural listings. A lot of customers leave reviews in the local business results so be sure to read them.

Cost.

There is no need to pay thousands of pounds anymore. Personal stylists are expensive but nowhere near as expensive as they used to be. Try and think of the service as a cost effective one anyway because in the long term, it will be.

Let the stylist get to know you.

A good stylist will want to learn as much as they can about you. They will want to know your tastes, your personality and what you are aiming to get from your wardrobe. Once this information has been gather then it is the sole aim of a stylist to make you look good and feel great.

Is it worth it?

This is obviously a personal decision, but from my experience, yes it is worth it. I enjoyed the experience and I feel that it has benefited me in many aspects of my life. I have recommended a Personal stylist to many people now and they all agree that although it isn't a cheap experience, it is a worthwhile one.
